Gamm Returns to Coast to Coast this Wednesday 5/15/19

Hilarie Gamm returns to Coast to Coast — the long running Top 10 National Radio Show — to chat on air with host George Noory at 10 p.m. PST. Hilarie and George will spend the first hour discussing the current trends in U.S. employment and why even with our roaring economy, wages continue to stagnate for U.S. tech workers and white collar professionals of every kind. The second half of the show will be devoted to listener call-ins, so dial:

and join the conversation with a story, comment, or question.

Since writing her groundbreaking book, Billions Lost: The American Tech Crisis and The Road Map to Change, Gamm has continued to serve as a national leader and advocate for American Tech workers, affordable and accessible U.S. Higher Education, women in STEM, data privacy, diversity, and the need for a thriving U.S. Middle Class.
Listen to last year’s interview where Gamm explains how the “tech crisis” called Y2K was the beginning of the end for U.S. tech labor. Other themes discussed are hacking, spyware, national security threats, and the value of data. Gamm’s 2018 guest spot on the show is as entertaining as it is informative:

Most compelling is Ms. Gamm’s explanation of how U.S. tech workers have been pushed out of their jobs and replaced by cheaper, foreign workers both in the U.S. on H1B and L1 visas and in foreign lands by the creation of “captive” labor forces.

Gamm and George also discuss ways the U.S. can protect itself from security threats in the future as well as enable our country to succeed economically rather than resort so heavily on foreign labor. This and other viable ideas for our country’s future are outlined in Gamm’s “The Road Map to Change” chapter of her book.

With the current administration’s plan to unveil immigration reform legislation this week, now is the time to get on board with the facts and information regarding U.S. legal immigration details and what it means for the future of our nation.

Get this one on your calendar. Don’t miss Wednesday night’s Coast to Coast interview with Hilarie and George.
